Thanks to the participating farms

The extensive surveys at the different participating partner farms have to be tested in advance and checked for feasibility but also for scientific consistency. Under the COVID 19 pandemic conditions, this also meant a changeover to an ONLINE questionnaire, which is completed with telephone support.

This so-called PreTest is a very important prerequisite to obtain valid survey results in the subsequent surveys.

The following organic farmers in Hesse have supported us in 2020/early 2021 in the development of the first questionnaire for the research project Ecological Varieties for Biodiversity and Climate Protection in the pretest in an expert and committed way:

  • Dieter Althaus, Kastanienhof, Völzberger Str. 14, 63633 Birstein-Lichenroth, Demeter

The research concept was expanded in 2021 to include additional farmers and, above all, three communities working in partnership. This enabled us to carry out further comparative data collection and put our observations on a solid footing. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the many participating farms:

  • Josef Baader, Linzgau Korn
  • Michael Haug, Alb Korn
  • Volker Kaltschmitt und Herrn Roland Waldi, KraichgauKorn Marktgemeinschaft

Without your cooperation, the project would not be possible.
Thank you very much!
